Ship's Log
I hope that one and all had an enjoyable day and managed to spend time with friends and family. For those away from their worlds - ((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))) for absent friends and family.
We've had a busy week sailing around the globe - we had a BBQ Down Under hosted by our fantastic Bosun Bear and a beary good time was had by all.
The Bear was smooched - which was a Bear Necessity and certainly a smooch we all enjoyed.
Thanku to everyone for all their menu's. Bear and I seemed to have encountered difficulties with our ship to shore wires communications and had some offline time - but fortunately y'all took the helm and found us calmer waters. Fingers crossed for next week when the "wired" toes will be "de-wired" and I lose a long screw.
The positive is - I will still have one screw loose which means I can still be a little screwy here! Phew.
Most of our motley crew have been back and forward - mismi came back from a lovely hol - battered the chair, and having retrieved the battery from G-Bubs ear,
placed the battery in the power tool and all was ticketyboo again in Dixie-world. TThun showed us where she fares from - OH - what a stunning place to live.
We had new crew join our happy ship - RogRat and WytVi who we have welcomed with open arms and big hugs (except TTHun - who cannot drop her arms no matter how persuasive the BabyTry's are and can only do virtual hugs for the time being - (Bear!)
Wishing JPB a wonderful holiday in New Orleans with her family. I think a special birthday celebration cake is in order from the crew so Happy Birthday Little M - have a great great birthday hunni. (bonnet cakes for a bonnie lass)
JPB & MrB - have a fab time and we'll catch up when you come home.
So, tomorrow is the Easter Bonnet Parade onboard. I hope all will be able to attend if possible to show us "yer bonetts". I will be bringing a rather nice Major Bonnet with me - he is a very notable pirate who, has eggsceedingly good manners, and is rather looking forward to meeting you all. He will leading the inspection.
Major Stede Bonnet, commonly known as the "Gentleman Pirate."
(now the reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallllly weird thing about ^^^^ that there
. is, all I did is put a search in for a pic - found my major - thought I'd read a bit more about him - and look what happened Posted: Mon Jun 06, 2005 4:31 am Post: 1381377 -
