@Dutchy,

TC – Ommmmm away and we’ll hear ya - hope all is good with the school house Very Happy

Babbling – Charlie started crying today... we were woken by the church bells (that’s the quiet next door neighbours Shocked She tried to sing “Dear Lord and Father of Mankind”... but... couldn’t remember the words – and that was it... the tears started and continued in waves throughout the day ...

Sheesh, then we had to listen to her sing Johnny Appleseed – which was quite amusing!!!!!!!!!! (just don't tell her that!) She did good today day, we listened to your videos together... the Pink brought much home, so we held onto each other for a little while. Thank you so much. This will mean the world to her. Love love.

Danny – you know are thoughts are with you too and you gotta concentrate on you, thinking of you, your family, friends – we know you are with us in sprit. Bless you. x

Boida, yes, Charlie knows all about you (you are quite famous in our world) – we have decided that the exQuartermaster will install a Geiger counter in the downstairs loo and as she approaches we will hear the clicking as it reacts to her getting close... at that state – evacuate evacuate Smile Heh, you gotta laugh – and thanku – we may ask for your help...

JPB too – will see how she goes and when it comes to post op options, she may be up for a few (she’s saying a no no to chemo right now, and that’s maybe OK as we don’t know if she will have to do that... we’ll wait and see. Thanku JPB x

Yep Tsar – she’ll be on the icecream – will get her some special flavours – after all, she is the Flavour Queen – thanku x

Hey Tattoo Tulip – ooooooooooooh, looking forward to seeing that. Will call you tomorrow... get the candles burning... pinks and blues. Hope you are feeling so much better now. X

Jw – thanku for sharing that – it helps to know how many people survive the dreaded “C” word – congrats to you – thank you for following along on this particular journey. X

As for Bazza – well, I was late down driving to him through London – what you see me wearing is the traditional Indian attire with bangles that Baz has gifted to me... (and a little extra to follow) and the beautiful pashmina, a stunning poiple bag and ingrained pen (for the little fella) from our MaMaVerby. I was completely gobsmacked, totally spoiled - THANKU – beautiful purple and so much vibrancy. Of course, I couldn’t not try them on – and thanks for the nice thoughts – it had been a long day and had I known there would be a photo shoot I woulda made a little effort at least.... had the lippy tho!!!!!!!! Cannot thank either Baz or MaMaVerby for my beautiful gifts enough – gorgeous. Am so blessed and fortunate. Thank you both so much.

keep them posivibes going peeps - we LOVE a PINK theme... now we know Charlie's gonna have some BLUE moments, but it's the BLUE moments (sentinel lymph node blue dye stuff - tick tick tick tick tick <where's that geiger counter>) that will be kick the ass outta this and let us know the next step she'll be taking - so we love a bit of BLUE too.

Hope y'all can find something PINK to wear each day - as a positive energy move Charlie is going to start campaigning (continue the UK campaign) for the mammogram age limit to be brought down to 47... ha, this schmancer picked the wrong gal to have a fight with - she will win no problem.

Little fella is OK now - he's a little bit angry on the inside and I think will become Charlie's campaign manager for getting the mammogram law changed here. He's a feisty little chickadee - takes after his Godmother Wink

We've been out plotting and planning for the afternoon - am verra tired now, verra tired - need to do some zzzzz catchup at some stage. Hope you have a big sleep BEAgle - thinking of you - hugs xx

have to laugh - I wore pink and blue yesterday - Set wanted to know if I was having trouble deciding if I was a boy or a girl.

Have one of those pink ribbon thingies hanging from the rear-view mirror. Sewed pink, purple and green ribbons around the bottom edge of my life-vest.

Always thinkin' of ways to support the pink.

Dragonboat racing is good.

@Izzie,
I didn't own anything pink until recently. I started walking again a few weeks ago. I needed some new sneakers first and bought some white Nikes with a big pink splash along the sides. I almost didn't buy them because I never wear pink but the price was right, the size was right, and I thought I'd wear a bit of pink to keep my friend who was recently diagnosed with BC in mind. Today when I laced up my sneaks I added thoughts to FQ as well. I'll be lacing up one shoes for each of them in the days ahead.

@ehBeth,
Y'all are fab!

THANK YOU FOR CHARLIE!

Not sure what to do with myself right now...can't sleep, can't think

Charlie and I were 14, 1979... it was cool then for our parents to put us on the 6 hour coach trip up to Essex - we spent our every school holidays together, shifting between the parents farm and Tavistock... we got on the coach, my brother, Sas, Charlie and me - we were in 4 inch heels - the coach stopped at the service station en route and us being us left Sas and my brother to sit boringly in the back of the coach whilst we went and applied copious amounts of lippy and blusher.

Time flies when you're having fun and we didn't realise the coach driver had made the leaving announcement - as we left the loos and went out the door we saw our coach driving away, whilst looking at my brother with his fishing rods and Sas in the back at the coach window shouting to the front for the driver to stop - we had to run, in our 4 inch heels (her's were bright red, scarlet chick that she was then) along the hard shoulder whilst the coach pulled up on the motorway - slightly flushed from the embarrassment of having to look at everyone as we tottered giggling onto the coach and with blusher to match our faces Embarrassed we made our way to the back to be chastised by the older bruv and sis. <ahem> Rolling Eyes

For the rest of the journey we learned the words to the following song and sang it over and over and over again not impressing anyone but ourselves, whilst we tittered over teenage girlie mags.

Charlie and K-bro fell in love right around about then... took them 20 years to get it together... it was their 7 year anniversary yesterday and they are together now when they need one another more than ever - he is her lobster! <you'd havta know "Friends" to know what that means...

We sang "the coach journey" song this weekend... we laughed a lot - the best memories

I don't like Mondays... Boomtown Rats

love my soul sis sooooooooooooooooo much - she's tired these last couple days - officially signed off from work now - still smiling, still positive, fighting spirit... that's my gal!

Missy says a big hey to everyone - computer is up the spout at home but she wishes you to know she is thinking of y'all. Love you Mis. x

((Blue)) xox x

Thank you all - keep the ommmmmmmms and prayers and well thoughts going - lovin' you all for your support and for listening. xx

@Izzie,
Well, good morning world, sunshine and fresh coffee. I woke to have breakfast with my beautiful daughter before she left for work, and then, in the stillness of the morning I turned on A2K to lift and brighten my world.

And boy, did you do that>>>> Thank you everyone, so so so much.

I have had a couple of bad days, thoughts of being taken from my girls and tired to face the impending battle - and then I find words from my most beautiful friend in the world - Iz - you have spoiled me so much, - I LOVE YOU - Beyone forever.

Brooke - I need to feel God's strength right now as it all seems a little black out there - your prayers will truly give me hope and strength.

Bazza, Boida, JPB - All of you - thank you for all your pictures which have made me laugh , smile and cry so much - I was the black chick - I am really having to go Pink now - 3 pairs of new pink PJs for the impending op - although I guess they may turn blue when I am dyed!

Izzie and I have had a lifetime of laughter - remembering capsizing the canoe, fishing, catching a duck! , me driving down Pork Hill in Fanny Fiesta before I passed my test! - Playing chopsticks on the pianos in Harrods, saluting magpies, smoking cosulate menthols and being sick.................and and and - I love you.

As for my Lobster hubby - he has so risen to the challenge of me - especially when I lost it completely last night and wailed and fell to bits - I read the Breast Cancer website and really wish I hadn't! - Reality is starting to set in and I am so not ready to leave this world yet.

Keep the prayers rising and Brooke - I can feel it at work.

I was lying in bed yesterday afternoon and I was asking God, Why? and What is His purpose in this?
Within 5 minutes I had an email sent through from a beautiful colleague Beth, entitled AVON NEEDS YOU - On reading the email, it was about sponsoring her 5 km run in Hyse park for Breast Cancer and to raise awareness about early screening. - As I told my husband that God had given me an answer, she called me and she will be running for me, her best friend SJ who has had a double mastectomy 2 days after my op. - How amazing!

It doesn't mean it will be plain sailing, or even that I will survive this - it just helps me go through it with a positive aspect.

I will call the hospital this morning as I still do not know what type of cancer it is - I thought I did till I started reading - best I check that one!

Anyway - the Yabber Liner should be a happy place, and you have made me happy guys - Verby - I love your pics - I am sure Bazza had the best time and I adore Izzies presents - they are stunning!

And by the way IZ - Thanks for my pressies - I Love them

Big hugs, prayers and vibes - to all women who are sad

Love you
FQ xx
