I'm a little late w/ this but just heard that CBS is airing the first season of Showtime's Dexter starting Feb 17th.

I'm a huge fan of the show and think it's a great idea to bring cable shows to network tv during this writers strike. It'll provide great programming for those who don't have cable, and for those who are looking for something a little more substantial than another reality series.
Re: CBS to air Dexter, Season 1
how is letting us know thirteen days in advance "a little late"?
in my book that's early
Ha! Late NEWS, Early NOTICE
Are you a fan? It's an amazing show - can't say enough about it. Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under) is phenomenal...

no.
adding showtime to our basic cable service would be a waste of $$...

no, the nerd.
i suppose judd nelson was the dude...
emilio estevez was the jock...
Ally Sheedy was the freak
Molly Ringwald was the princess....
sorry - i guess I was using "dude" in the general sense of the word...
And A. Michael Hall does a mean teen movie, but I don't think he's got anything on Michael C. (though he WAS my favorite Rusty.....)

I watched about fifteen minutes of Dexter (for the first time), then lost interest, and clicked on C-SPAN to watch the author of "Crazy About God" present his new book.
