@Rockhead,
The second movement of the 7th Symphony is my favorite of any movement from a Beethoven symphony.

Here's something interesting: the same movement, this time with a video montage of Scarlett Johannson. Why not?

@Rockhead,
However, to keep you awake and prick-up-your-ears, the melodic strains of Richard Strauss evoking the heroism (his favorite subject) of Don Quixote with the other definitive cellist Mstislav Rostropovich and an all Japanese symphony orchestra:

@Shapeless,
I'm working my way through this page of posts for my Sunday morning "church" time.

Had to stop here and comment on Beethoven's 7th. This is one on my favorite pieces. Thanks for posting it, shapeless.

Another performance by Julian Lloyd Webber. This piece was commissioned by Webber after hearing Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez

@mismi,

Mozart Sinfonía nº 41 "Jupiter" - VPO Bohm (4 de 4)

I think I am going to make the boys sit and read while this is playing today. They listened to this while in the womb...and when they were babies...I wonder if somewhere in those little heads they will remember and they will feel peace - instead of the constant fighting I am dealing with now...experiment coming. I'll let you know.

Very Happy

That was nice! I went back and listened to all three movements. Classical guitar is high on my list as well. Here's one from the master.
