I am going to crush up some pistachios and mix them in with some chicken salad and make a sandwich. Maybe some nice diced onions too.
Is this a bad idea? I love chicken salad, and I love pistachios. How can this be a bad idea? We shall see.
I think it is one of your better ideas.
Makes sense. There are a lot of recipes that combine chicken and nuts. Chicken and almonds, chicken and cashews ... why not pistachios?

Add a bit of curry and raisins to it, and it will be perfect!

I seem to be having a problem. Everytime I start shelling the pistachios, as soon as I get a nice big pile, it just looks too good to me, all those delicious shelled pistachios sitting there tantalizingly--before I can stop myself, I just grab up the lot of them and stuff them in my mouth. Pistachios are too good! I believe they are the king of all nuts.
Okay, I'm going back in for another try. Wish me luck.

That was a ******* delicious sandwich though. Yum. I invented something good there. The Pistachio Chicken Salad Sandwich will definitely be on the menu when I open my first successful restaurant.
