Three wheels could make us older geezers a bit more stable; Vespa comes out with the 3 wheel scooter called the MP 3.

The trouble with all those is ... where I live. There is a large street with fast traffic between my house and most shopping I want to do. I'd feel like a gnat among velociraptors just crossing that street in other than a car.
At one intersection I jogged across and still just made it before the red light.
(Fill in with osso rant against pedestrian unfriendly urban design).
