Ah, Bells. Love their Two-Hearted and their Oberon. (There are only a couple of wheats I've had that like, Oberon is one of them. The other is made locally by Capital Brewery, dag bless em...

@jpinMilwaukee,
One of my favorite bars here has it on tap, in nice big glass pitchers. Easy place to waste an afternoon.

Had the Bells Expedition Stout. Complex. Strong. Thick. Dark. Strong. Too heavy for me. I'm not a stout person. It did have an unusual nice aftertaste though.
Had the Yuengling Black and Tan next. The Bells stout set this one up to taste light and crisp. I would have this one again.

@panzade,
I can hardly wait. The only good thing about winter coming is all the pumpkin ales that come out.

@jpinMilwaukee,
Never had one. What's it compare to?

@Ticomaya,
It is usually an amber ale with very mellow hop flavor and an addition of cinnamon, all spice and nutmeg. The largest difference you will find between them are the amount of spices used. I tend to lean towards the ones that have a little less spice flavor in them as it can be overpowering pretty quickly.

DogfishHead has a pretty good one, but the spices can be a little overpowering sometimes.

Some pumpkin ales bypass the use of pumpkin in their pumpkin ales, but I don't like those nearly as much. I use fresh pumpkin in mine.
