Welcome, moring. If you need any help getting around, just give a holler. Um, I wonder if we shouldn't post a notice regarding the number of Aussies around here.

Hello Artst.
Now Dorset is a place I've never been to, I know I should to see if I have any claim on it as my surname is Wimborne.

Hi Roger.
I'm a Pom through and through, I hold dual Citizenship but in the final analysis I like to think of myself as English.

This is another "Melbourne-ite" speaking here! I think you might be the first I've come across (apart from me, of course!).
Welcome to A2K!

Uh oh, two of them just popped in.

That's a RAT, by the way, but a very amiable one.

You know who are the dottiest people about animals that I've ever come across, Michael? The English! Very Happy
I think it's a very endearing characteristic. So I'm certain you & Hellen are happy with your 2 dogs, cat & galah. Enjoy!

G'day moring Michael (and Hellen) and welcome to A2K.

There's no-one dotty about their pets on this forum! My boss just happens to sit beside me, watching everything I submit. He's watching you now!

Rabbits
In years past when I first came to Australia in 1949 rabbits were a jolly pest, now that the fur trade is dead here the rabbits are happy again to be a pest. There was a time when people would trap them for food but no so these days, perhaps we are too well fed. Now and then one sees them for sale in the butcher shop window at a highly inflated price.Very Happy
