i am trying to find out how to set the timing on a 1993 gmc jimmy

Unless it has been heavily modified, the timing is handled by the computer, and manual adjustment is not possible.

It is advanced by the computer. The distributor still needs to be set to zero degrees.

I don't have that info here right now, but it involves unplugging something to set it... brain fried... gotta go to the airport now Smile
