Can you ask human resources to resend it unlocked?

There was a way to do it a couple of years ago when I had to do some go arounds... which I don't remember exactly now. I'm thinking it was numerous steps that involved burning it to a cd and saving it as a different format.

Will wait with you to see if someone that knows about these things stops by.

contacted HR, but won't get a response until monday.
IT guy said he would install a go-around for me, but also not until monday.

it's a 750+ page doc sent to ~500 people, so they prolly don't want people printing the whole she-bang.

i would only print the small page range i need...

Possibly

http://convert.neevia.com/

could also try installing Ghostview and Ghostscript to view PostScript documents. should be free ware as its included with Ububtu.

these appear to be borderline hacking tools

I'd wait till monday.

It's an ugly work around but you could just do screen captures and print those.

heard back from the HR dude.
sure enough, he said it was secured to prevent wide-spread printing.
(my place is known for squeezing them pennies...)
