Oh it was funny - I think anyway - but what made me really laugh was littlek asking what the bull was doing to the little person - it just struck me as funny - juvenile humor I suppose, please forgive me. And it should go without saying that it is hopeful no one was hurt...

Part of me was thinking the little bugger deserved it for having anything to do with bull torturing....but then I wondered whether the little fella had too many other choices economically speaking? Whether he was doing it as a career he was happy with, or in desperation.

Well, as I said, I was actually sickened by that, not amused.

The mexican midget rodeo (wich is the only midget rodeo) is for kids but adults secretly love it to. The midgets and the animals are to small to hurt eachother. The midgets are like stars and they get an income for performing actual talented legit entertaiment.

Far worse happens to man and animal in a real rodeo or god forbid bullfight.

Aaah...thank you. That's interesting.

That incident with the bull calf didn't look like it didn't hurt though.

My concern with the laughter respponse was

a. Concern that the guy was seriously injured

b. That the laugh was at the sexual humiliation of a person, especially at a small person.

If the context is one where people are recognized for their skill, and well paid, and not having to be humiliated (and where no poor animal is being tortured to death for the gratification of people) well and good.

But...can't small people and small animals hurt each other as much as big people and animals can? I mean, for the people, if taking the risk is a choice freely made well and good, I am just questioning the not being big enough to get hurt thing.
