From your lips to God's ears, as they say.

25 reps again. A tape measure arrived and I have duly measurized myself. So now I have a baseline for future reference. Scale is enroute.

5.02 miles tonight. First fun run of the year. Ran each mile juuust a little faster. Loved the balmy 39F air.

George: Calling the Forerunner 50 a pedometer is like saying Madonna has nice eyes. It has so many other talents. I haven't even gotten started on the training routines.

Should have 80 miles by now. Have 19.2

SCORE!

The boxing trainer looked me over and pronounced that I am 'melting'... (This has of course triggered a monologue in my head, ongoing for three hours now: "Cursed brat! Look what you've done! I'm melting, melting! Oh, what a world...what a world!")

Boxing and step aerobics today (with an entirely insane puerto rican trainer). Ran half a mile at the end - that's all i got left. usually it's 1-2 miles.
Boot camp tomorrow,
boxing and total body on Wed.
Washington D.C. on Thursday!
Find Washington Sports Club on Friday
Fly back Saturday
Mellow whatever workout Sunday.

Here's a really dumbass idea:
Run four miles; shower and change; donate a pint of blood.
I was in a fog all afternoon.

I'm glad you didn't faint.

I have yet to deal with our two pedometers. Maybe I'll take one to work and see about setting it up there while waiting for a query to run.

I would have fallen asleep standing up.

Dag: zo Tuff!

Jes: I'm a real gadget junkie and I've got to know just how far it really was, but you don't have to get obsessed.

Yay for nonsore days!

I have the two pedometers in front of me. I'll prolly take one to work and figure it out there. The other one seems slightly more complicated. They're different colors so it'll be easy to tell whose is whose.

25 reps.

Oh yeah -- upping water intake -- a good thing, for sure, but not easy in the cold weather. Thoughts, other than making herbal tea out of it?

soups? i can live on soups and they help with upping the water intake.

Oh, and this one: making a FRUIT tea out of it. Yeah!

Today: boot camp and ran two miles (20 mins)...then 30 mins sauna (that also means a nap). No soreness, cardio has vastly improved (and my heartrate went from 170 to 130 in one minute when done... good). jeans are loose and i am seeing muscles shaping up. i like this trend. maybe i'll be a body builder instead of a doctor of philosophy.

Club soda with a twist of lime is my way to make it a little more festive when I'm completely sick of plain old water... Oh, just remembered one other thing-- "spa water" is what the book I got it out of called it-- sliced cucumbers, apples, and lemon in a pitcher of water (leave it in the fridge for a little while so the water has a chance to pick up the flavors). Very yummy!

---------

Worked out Sunday and Monday, just like I told myself I would Very Happy Good job, me! Today was my day off; abs and elliptical tomorrow.

I also love love love the Arizona no carbs diet blueberry tea (not too sweet) and i love mineral water - i feel like i'm doing somethng extra special good for myself when i drink mineral water. the key is to change brands every so often, so that you get different sorts of minerals and not too much of one kind only.

the spa water also sounds good. and of course, there's fresh mint to make any water a bit merrier.

I walked today. Down a couple of blocks to get a bottle of wine.

Yay, Mame.

And, of course, I had to walk back.

Another mineral water fan here. I've researched them... they vary not only in minerals, but amounts. Some are pretty lame, others chock full of minerals...

I hoisted my dining room table from the back room to the front room today.

I went for my 11th 10 kilometre (6mi) run of the new year today.

It's easy at the moment as it is high summer where I am and I am lucky to have some nice white sand beaches and volcanic summits to use for tracks.

Am now recovering with a few bourbons Drunk

Ah the spa water sounds good.

We actually did soup last night. A slow cooker masterpiece if I do say so myself. Enough for three nights' worth, which is fine because it was verra yummy (assorted beans, tomatoes, chicken stock, cubed tofu, a little garlic and basil, cooked for 4 hrs plus something like 5 hrs of warming time). Smile
