need advice on replacing cv joint or buying shaft with cv joint and boot already in place ball point figure would be appreaceated i just noticed this yesterday dec 25th 2007 i heard a funny noise and looked under the right well and discovered the boot was loose ii could see greese up in the socket it began making a clicking noise i saw a shaft on line with boot for $80.00 please send advice iam starting a new job 60 miles From here in louisville please answer asa p thanks so much doug powell
Complete drive shafts are the only way to go. Most come with a lifetime warranty.
Easpecially if you are replacing yourself....(much less work, and all is new)

jeep cv joint
iäm just getting ready to fix this same problem on my 93 jeep also,
i'm planning on getting cv joint plus shaft from autozone and starting in on the project before the weekend.
so far the cv-shaft will cost $60 each from autozone plu sthe core charge and hopefully i won't need boots. they will come installed already.
i'll post any problems when i get it done. btw i' in paducah kz
