Anyone interested in the event?
Will the Americans keep their dominance in the 100 meters dash, or is it time for Australia?
Will Hicham El-Gurruj make the feat of winning both the 1500 meters and the 5000 meters?
Is Marie-Jose Perec's return for real, or just a decoy to attract French fans?
Will Jonathan Edwards retire with a gold medal? Will he really retire?
The official site:
The 9th IAAF World Championships in Athletics
3 of the questions have already been answered:
"Will the Americans keep their dominance in the 100 meters dash, or is it time for Australia? "
Yes for the women, a resounding no for the men.
Not a single American in a podium whose top was occupied by a sprinter of St. Kitts/Nevis.
Australia's Patrick Johnson was also a dissapointment.
"Is Marie-Jose Perec's return for real, or just a decoy to attract French fans? "
A decoy, she didn't run.
"Will Jonathan Edwards retire with a gold medal? Will he really retire?"
The Brit was but a shadow of the former champion. He'd better really retire, so we remember him at his best.
