Hi i would be ever so grateful if someone could find out where i could watch or buy a vhs i think was called "the magic mirror" it was an old late 80's to early 90's childrens compilation of fables and shortstories with modern "at the time" renditions using stop-frame and painted animations with inbetween introductions and conclusions by narrators as a kid i remember gary glitter on one of them singing "good to be back hello" in a boat looking at fish and i think the story he narrated was about an eel. there was a jack and the beanstalk short wich was about a kid who lived in a flat and was all urban. and a rendition of what i think was about that princess stuck in the tower guarded by a seriously evil and verry scary witch and the prince had to drink all the water in the sea to obtain a ring wich set the princess free.. i would be so chuffed if you could help me here cause my researching came to no conclusion i know as a pre-6 yr old kid i had 2 of these vhs "magic mirror" i think it was called.. if you havnt watched i strongly suggest you do because these where fairytales done right. and was verry dark and artsy and lurk in the back of my mind begging to be watched just for closure on my vivid colorfull memorys and early inspirations
