DIRT PUDDING CAKE FOR CHILDREN
Adapted by BumbleBeeBoogie
1 package Oreo cookies crushed to resemble dirt
1 package instant vanilla pudding
1 large container of Cool Whip
1 package of gummy worms candy
1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese, beaten with a fork to soften
Spread 1/2 of the crushed Oreos on the bottom of a 9" x 13" non-stick baking pan.
In a large bowl, prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package directions and allow to set. Mix in the softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the Cool Whip. Mix in the remaining Oreo crumbs and pour the mixture into the pan.
Arrange the gummy worms in the pudding mixture, leaving 3 or 4 worms for garnishing. Refrigerate until cold and set.
these woulda been good for Mo's garden party
We DID make these for Mo's party!
Yeah, we did!
I made carrot cake and mini-dirt cakes.
I think the cream cheese put a lot of the kids off though. If I were to make them again I think I would try some different kind of filling.
Can you get chocolate or caramel cream cheese? It's kinda all right for this sort of thing.
I think I would probably try it again with ice cream.
