Dunno why I thanked BillW when I meant to thank Monger. Coinfusion induced by overconsumprion of cranberry chutney, I trow. (Good excuse, anyway.)

Holy crap, what possessed you, Deb!? You're gonna give a turkey a heart attack here! ...Incidentally, turkeys really CAN have heart attacks, in case you were wondering. Wink I read somewhere before that once when the Air Force was conducting test runs and breaking the sound barrier, fields of turkeys would drop dead. Twisted Evil

While we're on this lovely subject, Wink here's an entire column Dave Barry dedicated to turkeys: Dead or alive, turkeys can fowl up your life!

Dead duck is my personal favorite . . . although it is difficult to cook . . . i like the extra fat, because it keeps the meat moist . . . goose is too greasy . . . pheasant, quail, cornish hen--i find all of them too dry . . . turkey as well . . . roast duck for me ! ! !

Duck is marvelous too.
Very popular in these parts.
Pheasant and turkey isn´t always dry though, but I know where you´re coming from.
