I joined this forum so people who know art would help me find out if this Picasso artwork is original or not. I have had it since 1966 in the attic. It was done on very heavy paper. I don't know if it is a painting or litho. All the Picasso internet sites and libraries have no copies of this original artwork. One artist wrote back that the name on the artwork is Picasso's. If anyone knows anything about this artwork, please let me know.

You would have to have it authenticated by an expert, call a big city auction house or museum for a reference. It does not look like the real thing, but he might have been having an off day.
I once heard a gallery owner say that "Picasso created hundreds of pieces of art and millions are in circulation. "
Ditto the above.I have my fingers crossed for you that its a genuine Picasso.
