There's certain programs I can put on and just sleep and sleep. One of them is Saturday morning dog show sthat lasts a good three hours.. I can also sleep through marathons of Cheers, RoseAnn, Seinfeld, Mash,,,,
I happen to be a Law & Order fan. (All three flavors). On some evenings, between a few cable stations and the networks, you can watch the shows all evening long. Often, I have been known to be watching one episode. The next thing that I know, I am seeing another episode, and it is a couple of hours later.
I can watch Friends over and over again and it's also one that I like to fall asleep to. Definitely a comfort show for me. So is Seinfeld, I Love Lucy, and the Cosby Show. I always fall asleep at night with the tv on and it's either reruns of sex in the city or else the nighttime programming on NBC. I always have the volumed turned down so low that I can barely hear it and just drift to sleep.
hehe, I fall asleep to the ending theme song of Inuyasha. i don't much care for the show but that song at the end puts me out like a light.
Interesting.
I had never heard of someone using a television show to go to sleep.
What's the sense in watching it if you're not going to see what's going on?
Don't the commercials, or loud sounds on the show wake you up?

i can't go to sleep when it is too quiet or too dark, so i just sleep with the tv on and the volume turned down. it is also helpful when you can't fall asleep....just watch a show that bores you into restfulness.
