I LOVE Vampire movies! I can't wait to see 30 Days of Night. Has anyone seen it yet? Any good?

My favorite vampire movie has to be Fright Night.

What's your favorite or the best in your opinion?

'Salem's Lot was the best ever vampire thingy (I know it wasn't a film).

Near Dark and The Lost Boys were both brilliant though.

IMHO.

I've got 3 favorites.......

Nosferatu.German, silent, may be seen by some nowadays as a bit "arty".

Dracula.Christopher Lee was THE top actor,in the UK,for scarey films in the 60's and early 70's.Watched all of them at the Woolwich Odeon on Sunday afternoons (happy days Very Happy ).

My third choice is Blade.Laying down a new track on the vampire story front,Snipes and Kristofferson are well cool in this half vampire/half human story.

I agree with RP. The first time I saw Fright Night, parts of it scared the hell out of me.

Nosferatu was entertaining but campy. Bram STokers Dracula was adifferent spin but only mildly entertaining.

I love the old Bella Lugosi version, I tried to culture that maniacal laugh that Drac's assistant (Johny Harker?)

There was a made for television movie called "Night Life" about 15 years ago. It tool place in Mexico City, and Ben Cross played the vampire. I enjoyed it quite a lot.

My favorite is "Dracula" with Frank Langella simply because he was the first to infuse the Count with sex appeal and that, of course, made his conquests all the more understandable.

Frank Langella is gorgeous!

Have you noticed he's got wobbly eyeballs?

Love at First Bite with the very orange George Hamilton is funny. Well it was in the 80's when I last saw it.

Loved Vampire George and Susan St. James doing the hustle to "I Like the Nightlife, I Love to Boogey". They did their own dancing but of course, Mr. Hamilton was a regular in the discos back then, Studio 54 and the like.

<----my avatar should give my answer away.

So many to choose from though...I just watched From Dusk Til Dawn about an hour ago...and I'm not much for any Tarantino movie, especially with him actually in the film....but Salma Hayek....well, that's all I'm gonna say....Salma Hayek...Salma Hayek.
