Nostrodamus is one of the most misquoted people in history - words turned to fit each new historical event for the gullible.
I've read the works of nostradamus Edgar and I agree with you completely people just read into them whatever they want to believe.

the part where he predicted that the king would die in a jousting match was pretty cool. the guy had a lance through his head! and they impaled prisoners to see how to remove it from the king!
Example interpretation of his "predictions" a great man will be struck down by a bolt from above, modern day interpretation it can only refer to JFK.

I foretold that it would be on tv last sunday quatrain.
