In fact, at $3.00 per bottle, it's superlative. And a darn good thing, too. On the recommendation of a friend I picked up 5 bottles of the stuff at Trader Joe's, and the Cabernet Sauvignon is really good. Well, good friends don't let you down.
I'm not going into flavor and bouquet. My last experience with fine wines was back in the days of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill, and Ripple. I'd surely screw up the nomenclature. Give it a try, though. I wouldn't let you down.
Oh, I forgot the name. It's Charles Shaw Winery.
Yeah I've had it too. And for three bucks its damn good. For a casual pasta dish at home why the heck spend more.
The story as I understand it is - Charles Shaw sold his winery or grapes or whatever for a song. Can't remember who the actually producer of the wine is off the top of my head - but he then was able to produce the wine so cheap as a result.
Hmmm, haven't tried that, but have heard of it for years.
One of the upsides to staying at the Sailor's Mission in NYC is that it's only a block and a few steps to a TJ wine store. Nice to pick up a bottle to take back to the room for decompressing at the end of an eventful day - and not worry about your tongue turning purple or your teeth falling out.
I thought you were talking about hamburger
Charles Shaw Winery is owned by Franzia, the producer of that fine wine you see in boxes all over the place. I'm pretty sure the boxes don't need a corkscrew, but I haven't tried it yet.
I didn't think of that Farmerman. Whenever I hear Buck Chuck, I think of a rather odd chuck used on a few lathes. It has 6 jaws instead of the usual 3 or 4, so you can chuck up some rather delicate tubing without distorting it.
I gotta give it to you, farmerman, that's what I thought too.
Roger+chuck=welldone burger.

I thought you were talking about male escorts, as recently discussed on the British thread.
