Well, my bags are packed; I'm ready to go...The airport transit bus arrives at 5 am tomorrow morning which means I'll be getting up around...oh god...4 am...so, good night all. See you in a couple of weeks. (Hopefully see some of you sooner.)

Tai chi, I never emailed you the abq addresses for Days Inn, etc. Many of us are on the west side and there's a clump of motels just south and sort of east of us.
I'll still look them up, in case you'll see them listed here..

I'd still like to meet you if possible. By now you know all hell is breaking loose with Diane's health.

Still, possibly breakfast, depending on timing. Keep in touch.

Jo

I meant that for a pm, but it can stay as on the thread, I'll live.

I'm hoping to be in town tomorrow, the 20th, but maybe not. I kind of had a shopping trip planned for the weekend, anyway. Breakfast is out. Won't be there that early.

OK, my two favorites first, for no good reason as I've not stayed in them -

re budget --
Days Inn - inexpensive, looked ok, was attracted by the pool

Cinnamon Inn (name perhaps reason not to like it)
Diane and I stopped and looked at this place, liked it a lot, and had a chat with the owner, thinking Shewolf and family would like it.
Has charm. Mentioned a higher price but I bet there's wiggle room there..

Not only have I not stayed at those places, I've also not stayed at these --

Casas de Suenos
looks interesting, more money

Interesting, I like the street it's on, not so very budget

Sarabande, looks interesting -
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&q=Motels&near=Albuquerque,+NM&fb=1&view=text&cd=102&latlng=35155369,-106656824,9686288959441003748&ei=W2wZR5rvEo_CjgG2582PBg

Rio Grande Inn no opinion - handy
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&q=Motels&near=Albuquerque,+NM&fb=1&view=text&cd=10&latlng=35103740,-106670764,10658016236591546019&ei=lmgZR9ySOouKiwGA0YHjAw&dtab=1

There are zillions of hotels and motels off the I-25 and 40...
but the Rio Grande is near both old town, which is neat, and Rio Grande Blvd, my favorite street.

I stayed in something called Le Baron, or something like that. At $78.00 during the balloon festival a few years, it was priced very well.

Hint. When you stop at a diner, pick up the pamphlet flyer things. They give discounts to hotels, we gather best found after the reservation, presented as you show up. Someone at a motel on our search for shewolf helped us out with that, but I'm not sure how true.

TaiChi--

You're probably on your way by now. May all the deities of travel conspire to permit a wonderful trip.

Hold your dominion.
