I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe and am experiencing a high pitch RPM interferrance through the rear speakers. The interferrance increases and decreases when I accelerate and decelerate. The radio and speakers are stock. I was told this could be a bad batterry. The battery was recently load tested and tested strong. How can I eliminate this annoying noise?
It sounds like possibly the alternator is dying. When its on its way out it sometimes makes "dirty" power causing the noise you describe.
Its also vaguely possible that its related to plugs or wires. Sometimes they will impart noise on the electrical system.
