I thought last night's Emmy Awards show was lackluster and disappointing.
The whole 'theatre in the round' didn't work well, and Ryan Seacrest....ugh....sucked.
Sally Field, while a great actress, really can't speak well in public at all; she flubbed her acceptance speech and used the last couple seconds to voice an opinion on the war and they bleeped her - which was very uncool of Fox.
However, Tony Bennett and Christina Aguleira were sensational! That girl is such a chameleon!
i didnt watch the emmy's but i saw the sally field clip. they didnt cut her off because of the war, they cut her off because she said "god damned". last time i checked you cant say that on television.
It's too bad she couldn't get it together. She screwed up a special moment. Now this go down in history along with her "you like me" foolishness from years ago.
