Yes, but it's more better if you make your own.

one of my potluck specialties is my own cream cheese concoction that I create with smoked salmon and freshly chopped chives and dill, then spread it on little rye rounds. great horse dovers.l

Yes, I love it! It makes for great sandwiches - one side with Philadelphia
whipped cream cheese with chives, and the other side with pesto sauce.
Inbetween red cabbage leaves and roast beef....mmmmmhhh so good!!

Yea does sound good cj most people would use it as a dip, but as a sandwhich spread it sounds great. Another recipe to try could be...

Bacon Chive Brunchwich

2 medium croissants, split, lightly toasted
2 Tbsp. philadelphia Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
2 eggs, scrambled
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 slices oscar mayer Ready to Serve Bacon

SPREAD cut surfaces of croissants with cream cheese spread.
SPOON eggs evenly onto bottom halves of croissants; sprinkle with pepper.
COVER each with 3 bacon slices and top half of croissant.

Both sandwiches sound delicious! Something I will have to try! I just bought the philly chive and onion cream cheese the other night to make a sauce for on chicken breasts and broccoli. So delicious! I mix a bit of the cream cheese with chicken broth, bring to a boil on the stove and then simmer until thickens, and then spoon over chicken and veggies. I've been wondering what else to use the cream cheese for and now I think I'll make one of the sandwiches!
