What phone wire colours do i use?

I have 2 differnet 6 conductor phone lines to connect to a 4 conductor wall jack. The wall jack plate has 4 conductors coloured: green, black, yellow, red.
my 2 - 6 conductor cables are coloured:
green, green/white, blue, blue/white, orange, orange/white
&
white, red, blue, black green, orange

first question is can I connect 1 6 conductor line to a 4 conductor telephone plate & what colours on my cables to I match up to the wall plate.
