I believe to a take an action with respect to all the files on a flash drive, you highlight one file, then press Ctrl-A.
What if you you want to delete almost all of the files? Do you have to delete the files one-by-one? Or can I use Ctrl-A to select all the files and then is there a way to un-select a few of the files?
Press control-A to select all the files in the directory. Then control-left-click on the files you don't want. This un-selects them. Keep the control key pressed as you un-select one file after another.
Highlight the first photo, hold down Ctrl and highlight each photo you want to (delete ,copy ,move etc) and right click and delete.or copy or batch move.
