just wondering if anyone knows of a broader manuel for the Rainsoft Silver Series Water Conditioning Equipment. Purchased on 9/01/1997
Problem the settings were off. I didn't hear the equipment run as it usually runs the sound was a bit different. So I touched the backwash switch twice soon thereafter and I didn't notice that the whole unit was on and running the WHOLE DAY LONG. From 6:00 a.m. to about 6:30 p.m. when i was back home.
It seems that it was gushing out water all day.....major water bill. When the service man came out initially he never wrote on the lid what the settings were.
I have tried all this time to do it on my own....but I am stumped.
Also the water level is higher than usual. By the way I add the block of salt (25 lbs).
Any suggestions Mr. h2o to the rescue.....anyone...anyone?

Drop me an email with your mailing address and I will mail you a copy of what you need.
If no water is running to the drain I suggest you unplug it until the problem is corrected.
If water is still running to drain you may have to by pass the unit.

Almost 12 hours!!
This first call for help was 8:30 last night! And you don't show up til 8AM??
