Welcome back. I am sure you are glad to be home. My home is shaping up, but slower than I would like. I had to import top soil for on top of the hard clay. Broke my back with pick mattock trying to get in it.

Did you leave the "Schuldienst" (school teaching) and are going to work now?

More on the serious side: I've never had any difficulties flying eatsward and only little when returning. But Mrs Walter always got some trouble handling my time schedule when I returned from the USA.

Yup. living the most lazy life- teacher, mother, hausfrau-
You certainly know:
Lerer haben formittags recht unt nachmitags frei.

You are right, going eastward is easier on your inner clock. Westward is a more difficult. Maybe the adjustment takes longer when you are getting older? My daughter didn't seem to have any troubles when she came back.

I was sure it had to be written "nammitag's"! But as a lerer you have recht, even here. Laughing

I am enjoying some aspects of it - but not the heat, humidity, or consequences to the back. Will be glad when I get the last of it in so that I can go on to painting.

It wasn't really that hot Crying or Very sad  - The mountains are high in Mexico. I was surprised though to see all the forest on mountains more than 3 000m high. Beautiful.
But this was more to my taste:
