I painted this, but ended up liking my pencil drawing better. Do you agree? I did this with pencil, blending stump, eraser, and touch-up with B&W digital painting in Corel. If you want to see the painted one, it is here:

I definitely like the pencil drawing better than the painting-- I'm a sucker for black and white! The details and texture in your drawing are just beautiful, and they get rather obscured in the color version (although it is nice in its own way).
