Signed up! Not sure if I will make the live draft this time as my regular league is drafting the same day.

I signed up, but noticed that now there is an odd number of teams.
I needed, I am OK with dropping out.

rjb, Actually, I've been absent from following the 49ers for several seasons after Steve Young left. I'm told that the 49ers will again have a difficult year, but I should follow this year just to root for "somebody." he ha ha...

In that case C.I., I invite you to play in the other thing involving the NFL here on A2K. The thread is called something like NFL 2007/8 A2K Road to Phoenix. Duel in the Desert.
It is a very simplistic game where a bunch of us (many of whom you know and have met) pick the winners in each week's games. By design it is very, very low key.
I ran it for 2 and a half years of its 3 year existence. This time, JPB in Chicago has agreed to do it. Please check out the thread and indicate an interest in being player #24. Time required to play is really minimal.

Our league is drafting on September 5, and we limit our draft picks to players on the opening-day rosters. Does anyone know when the final cuts will be announced, and where the rosters might be available? USA Today sometimes publishes them, but not always.

Smith (of the 49ers) looked pretty good, but the team as a whole still has some work to do. I think it's gonna be another blah season for the 49ers. Some of us would just like to see some improvement from last season.

Is this an online draft? If so then Yahoo should manage this.
