Hi Bree, I'm impressed beyond words at where you've located your punctuation in relation to the quotation marks. I appreciate the effort. I will have to do some delving and exploring re the archetype/prototype issue. If I can find the answer, it will appear here.

Setanta, I'm glad you stopped by. I always wondered what the pluperfect of screw was. Now I know.

Roberta, have you covered quotation marks being used without quoted material. Sometimes we use them to indicate the sardonic useage of a word, like saying someone was "arrested", when we darn well meant captured.
