Can you hard-boil eggs in the microwave? If so, how would get best results?

If you set the eggs in a dish of water, and then set the microwave to boil the water, wouldn't the eggs harden ( just keep them in boiling water, long enough).
If you put eggs in water and microwave the whole thing the eggs are gonna explode in hot water, fry the microwave, and send scalding water everywhere. Not a good thing.

If you want to boil a eggs in to microwave then you have to put those eggs into a normal water. I think Its will work.
Or you could buy them cooked & shelled at wally world
