MACRO EARTH ?

I was sitting in my backyard, last nite;
watching the lightning bugs.

I am a pro-lightning bug person,
long having favored them.

Think how the Earth wud be for us,
if we were their size:
rain drops wud be the size of each of us.

Maybe 20 years ago, I was walking thru my driveway,
when I saw one of my dog Mike 's water dishes ( Golden Retriever ).
I had put it up on top of a cabinet in the driveway,
when I decided that he had too many of them on the patio.
He lived inside anyway; he did not appear to object.

When I saw the dish, it had some leaves in it,
fallen from my maple trees, under rainwater, with insect life upon them.
There was a well populated society of submarine insects thriving in the dish.
Thay were having a hi old time.

Mike 's water dish was their world; it was all that thay knew.
I was thinking that if thay had a space program,
it wud be to get out of the water dish.

If thay had a Creation mythology, it wud be of me taking the dish
from the patio floor and putting it on the cabinet.

How 'd u cope with the world, if u were the size of a lightning bug ?
That is the IMPORTANT thing to figure out.

would a sentient being of the proper size not consider us the same size as lightning bugs? ratio wise anyway.

its all perspective. being that small would be awesome, if we had the same technology at that size. and i could fall off a roof and not get hurt.
