I need to get a maintenance manual for my Amazon Gold Series (AQC100 and RF744) units. I also need a channel to buy parts. Th local distributor is a rip-off organization $198/Hr. The main office in Illinois is NO HELP WHATSOEVER. Can anyone help?

If you can't get parts, replace it. I suggest a correctly sized softener for your family size, water quality and peak demand water use.
The number 744 probably means it's a 1/2 to 3/4 cubic foot which is too small for more than a 1 bathroom single person household.

Yep, 744 indicates a small 7" x 44" tank.
