Thanks to some Serious Sleuthing by Slusser and SoftenerParts guy I have confirmed that the RainSoft Silver
Series valve is based on the Fleck 5000 and that the RainSoft Gold series is based on the Fleck 5000 Pro Flow.

Now that you've admitted to ONE of your many errors..,

You need to learn how to say "I'm sorry" and mean it. Then promise to never disagree with Slusser again unless of course you can prove me wrong; debate and learn.

Especially about how long it takes to rebuild a Fleck 5600 or 2500/2510. Or how easy it is to rebuild them, and that they don't need the special Fleck tools...

BTW, the ProFlo (Fleck 5000) IS THE ONLY FLECK VALVE that does not have or need any special Fleck tools to rebuild it.

You were wrong calling the Rainsoft Silver Series control valve a "bastardized Fleck 5600".

You've been telling people here in this forum the wrong info for years; and not only about the valve on Rainsoft Silver Series softeners.... and you call me an irrelevant idiot with no class! because I point it out after you deny everything I say while calling me names.

That ain't cool, it's beyond dumb, it's stupid.

You previously confirmed the Silver and Gold series Rainsoft valves where a "bastardized Fleck 5600" and denied any possibility it/they could be anything else after softenerparts gave part numbers for the 5000 and I questioned you. Until he posted I took your word for it, you're supposed to know Rainsoft.

Another thing is that you didn't post the correction in the threads where you did the denying, you started this new thread with a cryptic subject leaving the errors in place and they are as old as 2-4 years.... with a few thousand views.

Those old threads continue your incorrect info to people searching for help with the Silver and Gold Series valves. And those threads are easy for you to find had looked for them; you've been posting in them repeatedly for the last few weeks. Now you tell me to shove it. I have been shoving it, right on you where it rightfully belongs.

The 5000 is not made anymore and hasn't been for many years; although the name 5000 has stuck.

It was 'replaced' by revising it into the ProFlo which is only made in the SE electronic metered version. The internal parts are the same for either version, mechanical metered or SE.
