As the fates would have it, Animal Planet had a program in the wee hours of the morning about gibbons. I've always been fascinated by them. Love how they move through the trees. Love the sound they make. Interesting and complex social structure. Great faces. And Don King hair.

I suppose some might say that vultures are not the most appealing of birds. They serve a valuable purpose in the environment. On the ground, not bad (king vulture):
But in the air, they SOAR (turkey vulture):
