Some excellent und some surprising matches in Monaco.
Nadal just won the third set [5:7, 7:5, 6:0] and the match versus Monfils.
9th time to win there for Nadal!

I don't know if I posted how much I enjoyed Indian Wells. Thought the ex-director was an ass, the tourney was very well run.
I got to see Nadal, Djoke and Goffin who was a revelation. Also Serena and Asharenka.
One can't imagine how poorly television captures the skill and speed in today's tennis.

Indian Wells is rapidly gaining a rep as one of the top events, up there with the slams. It helps that the owner is a billionaire who is only concerned with making IW the best event in the world. It helps more that the Williams sisters have returned, putting to rest the massive stain on IW history.

Many want it to be added to the slam list but it would be a mess. The players love it because it's 15 min from Palm Springs.
We were seated at a popular BBQ place called Babe's and saw many players having dinner.
