I am running Microsoft Outlook and every time I press send & Receive it tries to download 7 e mails that collectively amount to 43 mb. It does download new mails but always tries to download these 7 files after. I have let it run but they never do download and clear. How do I get rid of them I have no idea what they are and I'm not expecting any files that large.

Any ideas please

@GDP100,
If you aren't expecting them, delete them, don't download.

If you haven't done so lately, update your anti-virus programs and then do a scan too.

@Butrflynet,
Thanks, but my problem is they never download in order to see them to delete them, they just cycle through the receiving process for 10 minutes every time I open outlook they never appear in my inbox even if I let them run !! I can stop the process each time by pressing cancel all, but it still happens the next time I open outlook !!
