Yesterday was my son Colin's birthday, so after lunch The Lovely Bride, Rhys
and I drove down to New Haven. We hung out for a bit then took him out to
dinner. At the restaurant we sat in the bar area and watched the game.
This was in Connecticut and there were both Patriots and Giants fans
there. It made for a raucous time. Everyone was enthusiastic but well-
behaved.

We left while the game was still going on and kept the radio off for the ride
home because we had the game being DVRed at home. But I weakened and
got the score just after the game had ended. It blew me away.

Tough week all around. Is 7 wins (8 with a Monday night victory) the lowest we've had? Seems so...

Looks like Rob Ryan has been booted by the Saints. I don't think it will help.

I was teasing - about your wanting to change to Giants when the game was already on (at least I thought it was). Anyway, quite prescient you were.

I've been thinking of copycatting your early use of food or other things re the cities where our chosen teams play. I'd forgotten all about that until I recently connected food to a team and was amused. That now seems years ago..

I believe that 8 wins (assuming Cincinnati wins) would be the lowest winning total we have had in a while, if not ever.

I wasn't changing - just realized I'd never completed the pick (I have no idea when the games are on - unless they come up in a newsfeed while I'm online - American football isn't a sport I follow)
