@saw4o,
Use an emitter follower, Saw, at its input

@dalehileman,
Saddly,the emitter follower can only have as much as 600 k ohms for input impedance DALE Sad

@saw4o,
Well Saw then how about another emitter follower driving the first one

Anyhow we're thinking about the junction transistor. There are other kinds with high input impedance. In my old age I've forgotten what they're called so HELP somebody.

Mebbe SAW this'll tellya:

@saw4o,
Please forget Dale's silly links.

Use a JFET or better a MOSFET transistor for an high impedance amplifier input (up to 2 Mhz).

Source formulas and diagrams

There ya go Saw, now I 'member

Seems to me these kinds have a higher input impedance or resistance 'cause instead of a p-n junction or whatever it's a field and the coupling is purely electrostatic so none of the input current flows into the emitter or whatever its counterpart is called

Tim, didn't my links explain all this
Where did I go wrong

@saw4o,
However Saw, most abject apologies if as a result of advancing years and incipient Alz's my contribution was in any way ambiguous, perplexing or enigmatic
