There are at least two named entities called Boston Hill in what is called "Yorkshire": a street in Hebden Bridge (postcode HX7), and a district near Keighley (postcode BD22). Both are likely to have been named after actual hills.

That map which appears at the linked page shows Boston Hill Wood in the southwest corner of the map.

@contrex,
I had a friend lived in Keighley, it's a lovely part of the world, near Haworth, Bronte country. Maybe the OP has found a reference in a Bronte novel.

I went out with a girl from Wakefield. Being a railfan I used to visit the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Also not far away is Bingley, the home of Damart, and also Peter Sutcliffe.
