If we all respond to stimulus, as we seem to do, Where does free will fit in?

Free will, Rick, is a sort of vague concept, ill defined, and that's why it's so controversial. I suspect, although I can't defend the notion, that the apparent contradiction between determinism and freewill will be shown merely a semantic issue
