Texas survives a tough (and crazy!) one with OU, now FL is going to win in the 4th Evil or Very Mad

I've been watching the SEC games and wondering about all the terrible calls.Well, the Florida-Arkansas officiating crew was suspended today and it's about time.

Their calls in the LSU-Georgia game definitely tipped the balance and their personal foul call against Razorback lineman Malcom Sheppard handed the Gators the winning touchdown.

Quote:
SEC associate commissioner Charles Bloom said this is the first time the league has publicly suspended a football crew like this.

The SEC says the crew will be removed from its next scheduled assignment Oct. 31 and will not be assigned to officiate as a crew until Nov. 14.

The league said the crew’s bowl assignments could also be impacted.

Kudos to the commissioners.

Texas-UCF-12:00

Be watching Texas and UCF today. Not a gimmee for the Longhorns. Last year they almost got upset

LSU-Alabama-3:30

As a gator fan I'm rooting for LSU of course, but I think the Tide can prevail and force Armageddon in the SEC championship.

Florida-Vanderbilt-7:30

Gators are locked in as the Eastern champs and I'm hoping coach Urban Meyer will rest Tebow. Fat chance!

OSU-Penn State 3:30.

Won't be able to watch, unfortunately. Should be good. Bucks need to win this and then the next two games (Iowa and [sneer]Michigan[/sneer]) to get to the Rose Bowl. Iowa's at the top of the Big 10 right now. The Michigan game is usually epic.

I'm wondering if Iowa is the emperor with no clothes...we'll see.

Great game, McCoy 470 yards (!) and 2 TDs 1 Int.

In 2007 we beat them 35-32; it seems our defense has improved somewhat since then... the defensive coordinator is also now slated to replace Mack Brown when he retires, so that's a nice thing.

Yeah, the Horns defense has improved since last year's squeaker. Although, UCF is hobbled by a second-string soph quarterback.

Now I'm groovin on LSU-Alabama...that T Cody is a load!

Woo!!

That might've been the Rose Bowl berth game right there. Iowa's QB is evidently injured and out for 1-2 weeks (we play Iowa next week) and we beat Penn St. Fingers crossed. Good game anyway.

You were there? Dang. Lucky.

(People actually jump in Mirror Lake? Isn't it unspeakably disgusting?)

That wasn't as good of a game as last week but it was still fun. We beat Mich-again! Whooo!

This town seriously goes insane for this game. A couple of months ago I was thinking of scheduling something for today and my friend was like, "oooh, that's the Michigan game." First of all, she knew that off the top of her head, second of all, Nothing Else May Occur On the Day of The Michigan Game. Everything stops... except for football.
