I'm looking for a technique, or tool, to make hollowing out mushrooms, in preperation for stuffing, easier.

for stuffung, we just pop the stem out and stuff em. The little wings that carry the spores inside easily are easily mushed down with the stuffing.

Buy a nice fresh portabello or an oyster mushroom for stuffing, they have a nice mushroomy flavor without getting too musty and overpowering something delicate like a crab meat stuffing.
