Does any one in the legal community know the following. If an ex-convict (felony) according to Immigration I file in Form I-765 #16, as follows: 8 CFR 274a.12(c)(18) who has been out for over 25 years and working full time 9-5. Has not had any more criminal incidents. I have three minor daughers one of which is disabled. Can I file for a fee waiver or reduction of fees on Form I-765; I just found out that effective 7/30/2007 the fee for said form goes up to $ 340.00 instead of the $ 180.00 fee prior to 7/30/2007.
It seems to go up every year I only make $ 21K a year and we are a total of 4 in household. Me and the girls. According to Immigration poverty guidelines I864P it indicates something like $ 25K. I only make
$ 21K a year and that falls way below the 25K a year according to the poverty guidelines (If I am understanding it correctly)
Can anyone answer or guide me to the proper website other than the Immigration and Naturalization Service/Department of Homeland Security website....it's too confusing for me. Also, if you know the Number of the specific Form I need to request from Immigration to process the Fee Waiver or Fee Reduction I would greatly appreciate it. and do I qualify based on way above information about me.
