The "bounce" is useful for some purposes but you can do a fake bounce without it.

Yes, it had compatibility issues with many email configurations. Many email servers that protected themselves against fraudulent use would not allow the application to bounce (whcih is all I wanted). The program was forging headers and not getting away with it.
