"My Documents" strange appearance

I don't mean "strange" as in "weird" but as in "unfamiliar" or "unexpected".

I don't know how it happened, but I brushed past a key on th right of the keyboard and the "My Documents" folder suddenly became a horizontal bar across the top of the screen. I don't needit there, and I don't want it there. How can I get rid of it? The folder on my desktop is all I need.

I may have asked this question a few years ago, but I'm not sure. Anyway, thanks for any help anyone can provide.

OK - I don't know what caused this, but I straightened it out.

OOPS! I straightened it out - sort of. It now appears until I hover my cursor over it.

Alright, I finally got it by clicking on a blank spot in the toolbar and avoiding "autohide" and "always on top". Lord only knows why it happened in the first place.
