I am doing a reasearch paper on the misconception of pit bulls and why they should not be banned. I can not seem to come up with an interesting title. Any suggestions?
Refuting the doggeral about pitbulls.
Pit bulls are doggone fine.
Pit bulls fight back.
How about, "Misconceptions about Pit Bulls." Simple and straightforward.
How about, "Little Girls Must Have Imagined Their faces Got Ripped Off", or "My Dead Daughter Must Really Still Be Alive Because I Have The Misconception That A Pit Bull Killed Her"?

How about "Misconceptions of Pitbulls -- Why they Shouldn't be Banned"? Unlike newspaper articles, research papers needn't be catchy -- just descriptive.
reaearch papers should not put forward any particular view or opinion, for or against a policy or view. If they do they are *not* research papers.
Yeah, research papers shouldn't, like, have a hypothesis and then test it...
Oh, wait...

A paper which appears to be saying "Pit Bulls Are OK Really" is not a research paper, it is a polemic, a pamphlet, an opinion piece, but it is not neutral.

That depends if "pitbulls are okay really" is the assumption or the conclusion of the paper. If it's the conclusion, there's no problem with putting it in the title.

I don't mean to sound rude but you are 32 and in college. Why can't you come up with a title to this research paper? Think of titles yourself and then ask what others opinions are if you are not sure.
Having experience of a pit bull, who was gentle with people she knew, but would have been horrendous if any one else had come near to them, I would say they cannot be trusted. They are bred to fight and that charecteristic will always be there. You cannot take the genes out of them.
